History

Create-a-wrestler is the tool players still cite inside WWF No Mercy. AKI and THQ's wrestling game, released in 2000, is remembered as a high point of the genre, especially that editor.

Entrances, ladders, and a deep grapple list sit under the created star. SmackDown-era WWF names fill the default roster, but a custom wrestler can main-event a pay-per-view the real card never booked.

The AKI engine's timing is the feel. A reversal window this tight is why the cartridge outlasted the license printed on the box.
