Neku Sakuraba fights on two screens in Shibuya during The World Ends with You. Square Enix and Jupiter's 2007 handheld game gives him fashion pins for powers and a week-long deadline.
The top screen and the touch screen each control a partner in the Noise battles around Scramble Crossing, and the pin deck changes which psych fires. The Reapers' Game lasts a week, with trends in the shops affecting how strong a brand is that day.
Later ports and a sequel exist, while this remains the DS original. Shibuya, the pins, and the deadline belong to the handheld game, not the follow-up.
