Scar joins a faction in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, GSC Game World's prequel and the second Zone release, set before Shadow of Chernobyl. Faction wars cross the Swamps and the Cordon, the PC version came in 2008, and Nintendo Switch is where this earlier timeline sits now.
Emissions and artifact hunts return, and Scar's health is tied to the blowouts. The plot shows how the camps reached the state Strelok later walks through.
The chronology points backward, toward a disaster the first game already survived. Clear Sky itself is the group trying to study the Zone rather than simply loot it.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
None in this catalog yet.
No wider family is grouped for this title beyond the series list.
