History

Stan Lee narrates Neversoft's Spider-Man (2000), a third-person web-swing published by Activision. It launched on PlayStation and also reached the Nintendo 64, and it is not the later movie game.

Doc Ock and a frame-up drive the story while Spider-Man crawls over rooftops and into sewers. Combat is a brawl of punches and web, and the narration keeps breaking in with Lee's asides.

The Nintendo 64 edition follows that PlayStation design rather than inventing a new villain. Anyone looking for the film tie-in has a different game in mind; this one is the narrated rooftop quest.
