Atlus mixed item attacks into a downhill dash in Snowboard Kids, a 1998 Nintendo 64 racer that plays more like a cartoon kart than a simulation of the sport. Snowmen, projectiles, and a course through a theme park replace a realistic gate run.
Slash, Nancy, and the other kids draft and shove on the way to a lodge. A well-timed item matters as much as a clean carve, which is the kart habit showing through the snow.
It is not a licensed winter-sports annual. The items, the kids, and the playful courses are Atlus's downhill.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
