A DSiWare sequel was upgraded for the television, and Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut is WayForward's home version of that half-genie chase. The elephant form breaks a floor the monkey form only climbs, so both dances have to be bought.
Magic transformations into a monkey, a harpy, and an elephant return as the dungeon keys. Risky Boots has stolen a magic seal, and Scuttle Town is again the hub that points toward the next form.
The 2014 director's cut includes a successor-console release with sharper art than the small shop original. Learning which animal fits which gap is still the map's real legend.
