Avatar hangouts fill Rec Room, Against Gravity's 2016 social virtual-reality place full of user-made rooms. Mini-games sit next to those rooms, and players meet as avatars on computer headsets rather than on a living-room disc.
Charades, a paintball court, and a quest someone else built can share one evening. The point is the room you join, not a campaign with a final boss and a credit roll.
Against Gravity's hangout is a place that keeps changing because the rooms are made by the people in them. The headset is the doorway the original release expected.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
