Live actors fill a branching sound novel, and 428: Shibuya Scramble is Chunsoft's scramble through that Tokyo crossing. A bad flag on one protagonist's hour can freeze a second character who has not even reached the crossing.
Several protagonists occupy the same hour, and a bad flag in one timeline jams another character's path. Photographs and phone calls replace a drawn sprite, so the crowd at the scramble intersection looks like a filmed street.
The international release arrived in 2018 after the Japanese original had already begun on a motion console. Western players finally got the same intersecting cases rather than a summary.
