History

Ike's mercenaries take contracts in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. The Greil Mercenaries march for Crimea against Daein, and the cast splits between beorc and laguz, the people of Tellius who do not all share a human shape.

Intelligent Systems and Nintendo released the GameCube tactics story in 2005. The Black Knight's armor ends a careless advance. A 3D battlefield still resolves in turns, with the Black Knight and Elincia tying the chapters to a war Radiant Dawn later continues on Wii.

Permadeath still punishes a careless advance. Laguz transformation meters make a cat warrior a different unit from a beorc swordmaster standing on the same tile.
