Physics rocks meet castle defense, and CastleStorm is Zen Studios' mix of a ballista shot and a side-view siege. A ballista shot needs lead time because the boulder has weight, not a hitscan laser.
Walls are built from blocks, then a projectile with real arc smashes the enemy keep. Sending troops across the field joins the artillery, so a repaired gate and a well-aimed boulder share the same battle.
A successor-console version followed the 2013 release. The humor of the kingdoms does not remove the need to lead a shot as the target moves.
