Plastic rifles take real-time orders in Army Men RTS. In 2002 the toy soldiers moved into base-building strategy, commanding Sarge's green troops across oversized household battlefields.
A kitchen counter is high ground, a tan plastic factory is the enemy base, and a resource node might be a pile of beads. The camera looks down on a backyard the way other strategy games look down on a continent.
Earlier Army Men games had been squad shooters in the same giant house. This one hands Sarge a command map and keeps the war green against tan.
