History
Whoville's presents are the target in The Grinch, the platform tie-in to Ron Howard's film of the Dr. Seuss book. The 2000 cart puts the green grump on rooftops and in toy shops, stealing and sneaking in the movie's spirit.
Max the dog and the mayor's inflated Christmas are part of that Seuss town, and the stages turn the heist into jumps, gadgets, and a sack. Cindy Lou Who's holiday is the thing being ruined, which keeps the plot pointed at the mountain above town.
Other Seuss games have starred the Cat or the Lorax. This one is only the Howard film's Grinch, mean on purpose, working through a town of Whos before any change of heart.
