History

Later knight campaigns share a carton with the original shovel quest, and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is Yacht Club's bundle of those stories. Plague Knight's potions replace the shovel drop, so the same Order of No Quarter is fought with vials.

Plague Knight's potions, Specter Knight's scythe climbs, and King Knight's shoulder bash each replace the shovel drop. The 2014 game sits underneath those added campaigns on the successor console and the glasses-free handheld.

Treasure maps and the same Order rivals return, seen from the villain's side of the fight. Buying one knight no longer means missing the others' towns and final bosses.
