History

Pheasants explode out of a countryside scene in Moorhuhn 2, the sequel Germany already knew under the Crazy Chicken name. The 2000 follow-up keeps the joke of the original casual hit: a cursor, a gun, and a sky full of birds that deduct points if the wrong thing is hit.

Antlers, aircraft, and bonus targets interrupt the flock so a round is not only a matter of speed. The humor is local and broad, which is why the series traveled under two titles depending on the shelf.

Point-and-shoot rounds made the first pheasant game a phenomenon on home computers, and the sequel adds busier scenes without changing the rule. Empty the sky, mind the penalty targets, and the round ends when the clock does.
