History

Outfitting a toy fighter is the preparation in Custom Robo. Guns, bombs, pods, and legs snap onto a small robot before the battle, and the series began on the Nintendo 64 in Japan in 1999.

A GameCube game carried the short title west in 2004. Legs and guns snap on before the toy robot ever fires. The Nintendo 64 origin is the Japanese toy-robot battler; the later home release is how many players outside Japan met the name.

Parts change a hover and a shot pattern. The fight is short, and the editing of the little machine is the long part.
