Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django

San Miguel, a town Django can walk, anchors Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django. Konami released the sequel in 2004 with the sun sensor back in the cartridge, and his weapons are no longer limited to the solar gun. Swords, spears, and hammers can be carried, then fed with daylight so a blade still cares about the weather on the desk.

The Gun Del Sol is stolen at the start, which is why the other weapons exist. A glove that enchants ordinary steel with solar power lets him keep facing immortals until a gun can be recovered. Bright light still fills the meter; shade still starves any magic that depends on it.

Streets in San Miguel connect shops, a way to turn stored sunlight into money, and the roads out to the next dungeon. Forging can join two weapons into a stronger one when the solar work is done properly. Vampires remain the quarry, and a coffin still has to be handled after the fight ends.

Konami kept the physical sensor and widened combat past a single pistol. Someone who only played the first hunt will find a hometown, a missing gun, and a rack of melee weapons. Daylight on the cartridge still shapes the build, even when the thing in his hand is a sword.
