Manny Calavera sells tickets to the afterlife in Grim Fandango Remastered. Double Fine's 2015 update refreshes Tim Schafer's 1998 LucasArts adventure about a travel agent in the Land of the Dead.
Rubacava, Meche, and the Department of Death remain the noir route, now with updated movement and cleaner art over the original calaca cast. The year of the dead he has to survive is the plot's clock, and the scam is a premium ticket his clients never receive.
LucasArts released the first telling. Double Fine's remaster is the same travel-agent mystery with the stubborn original controls made less hostile.
