A cube rolls from tile to tile, and Edge grew out of an earlier mobile challenge before later living-room and handheld versions carried it. Clinging to a side face lets the cube pass a gap that rolling on the top would fall through.
Balancing on an edge, clinging to a side, and dropping onto a switch are the moves. A fast clear is part of the scoring, so the same small course invites a quicker line.
The 2011 form of that rolling test spread beyond the phone. Prism-colored blocks and a minimal soundtrack keep the focus on the next ledge rather than on a story cutscene.
