Glory kills keep the pace aggressive in DOOM (2016), and Panic Button later brought that campaign to Switch. id Software rebooted the series as a fast demon shooter rather than a slow corridor crawl.
The Doom Slayer rips a demon for health, and Argent energy feeds weapons across the UAC Mars base. Standing still is the losing plan, which is the reboot's argument with older marine shooters.
Panic Button's Switch campaign is that same aggressive run, not a top-down spinoff. Mars, the Slayer, and the glory-kill heal are what that port had to keep intact.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
