History
Axel's fare meter is the whole contest in Crazy Taxi (1999), a clock race about delivering passengers before the timer hits zero. Sega's Hitmaker cabinet became a Dreamcast favorite, and the cube disc is a home port of that same arcade design.
Arrows in the road point toward the next drop, while a crazy drift around traffic builds the fare and the chain. Passengers shout destinations, and missing the stop burns the tip that was about to land.
The home port keeps the cabinet's urge to ignore lanes. Later sequels changed cities, but this disc is the original fare rush with Axel behind the wheel.
